The Beauty category is Sweet Apparel's newest venture! We are expanding our trend-driven approach beyond fashion into cosmetics and personal care with our own cosmetics line called Sweet Beauty.As well as continuing to leverage our manufacturing network and partner with beauty labs and brands for private label products.

Position Summary
We are growing and currently seeking a motivated Sales Assistant to join our team and support our sales operations. This position is ideal for someone with a couple years of relevant experience who’s ready to take on more responsibility in a fast-paced apparel/wholesale environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about their work, highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Please note: this is an on-site position in Midtown Manhattan where we work in office 5 days/week!
Key Responsibilities
- Support account managers with order entry, tracking, and follow-up
- Communicate with customers/buyers on order status, availability, and pricing
- Maintain and update sales reports, open order reports, and account records
- Coordinate with logistics and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Assist with preparing buy sheets, line sheets, and sales presentations
- Help resolve order discrepancies, invoicing questions, and customer inquiries
- Provide general administrative support to the sales team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, or a related administrative role (apparel/wholesale industry experience is ideal)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and CRM platforms xaygatp
- Strong Excel skills; comfortable working with spreadsheets and reports
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Team player who can work well cross-functionally with logistics, production, and sales

Target compensation for this role starts at $60k dependent on experience.
