Senior Sales Specialist Credit Risk Solutions (Buy?Side)
We are growing a dedicated Buy?Side Sales Team within our Credit & Risk Solutions business. This is an exciting opportunity to join at the ground floor of a high?growth initiative, focused on delivering credit?risk intelligence and workflow solutions to Buy?Side firms (asset managers, hedge funds, private?equity houses, pension funds, etc.).
Buy?Side firms face increasing exposure to counter?party defaults, liquidity risk, and macro?economic uncertainty. Our solutions help senior investment, risk, and portfolio?management leaders evaluate counter?party creditworthiness, manage capital, and build resilient investment pipelines. As a Senior Sales Specialist, you'll own strategic client relationships and drive transformational impact.
- Own a portfolio of buy?side accounts, with responsibility for new?business acquisition and expansion across Investment, Risk, and Portfolio?Management functions.
- Navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, including C?level decision?makers at buy?side institutions.
- Exceed revenue targets through proactive hunting of new logos and expansion of existing accounts.
- Position our Credit Risk Solutions suite (analytics, scorecards, ratings, workflow automation) as essential to buy?side investment workflows.
- Lead high?impact client conversations by diagnosing challenges, framing ROI, and shaping solutions.
- Collaborate with Pre?Sales Engineers, Product, and Client Success teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide market intelligence and client feedback to inform product development and strategy.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $102,287 to $127,858. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Basic Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, ideally in financial data, risk solutions, SaaS, or buy?side treasury/risk technology.
- Demonstrated success exceeding $1 M+ quotas in complex solution sales.
- Deep understanding of buy?side finance and credit workflows (counter?party credit, liquidity risk, capital management).
- Strong executive presence; able to engage at CFO, CIO, and Portfolio?Manager level.
- Consultative selling approach with proven ability to map client needs to tailored solutions.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
